Maria Balducci is originally from New Carrollton, Maryland, and attended St. Mary's in Landover Hills and Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School. She holds a M.M. degree from Roosevelt University in Chicago, as well as B.M. and B.A. degrees from Oberlin Conservatory of Music. Maria is a member of the American Guild of Organists and National Association of Pastoral Musicians. She is a strong advocate of Pueri Cantores, the international student choral organization of the Catholic Church, which strives to teach the youth the rich musical history and traditions of the Church. Maria currently lives in Alexandria, VA, with her husband Michael Voigt, a firefighter for Fairfax County, and their three young boys, Matthew, Daniel, and Patrick.
