For many years Holy Redeemer has supported a multi-church program, known as Safe Haven, that provides night-time shelter and food for homeless men in the area who are registered in the program. Each participating church provides shelter and food for one week. Our turn this year is March 8th through March 22nd (We will host the men for two weeks). We expect to have about 12-15 homeless guests staying each night in Fealy Hall.
Join us for our Set Up Day on Saturday, March 7th following the 8:30 a.m. Morning Mass.
We are grateful for your generosity over the past years. Donations of Giant and Target gift cards are welcome and are a great help. Also, donations of socks, men’s t-shirts (sizes M-XXL) and boxers are always appreciated.
This weekend, March 7-8, 2020, the donations to the poor box will be used to benefit our guests at Safe Haven. These funds have been used in the past to purchase bus passes, medications, and other miscellaneous needs for our guests. Your generosity to this effort is much appreciated!
