On Sunday, April 7th, Maria Balducci, our Director of Music, and our choir soprano section leader, Adia Evans, presented a 45-minute long concert of well-known and loved spirituals.  Spirituals are biblically-based songs, written by African-Americans during the hardships of slavery, mostly during the early to mid-19th century.  Thank you to Adia who will be graduating from the University of Maryland this spring and will be moving on from her time in the Holy Redeemer Choir.  As an integral member of the choir with an outstanding voice, Adia will be tremendously missed!
