The first day of School of Religion for the 2019-2020 School Year will be on Sunday, September 8, 2019.
Registration forms for families who were in the program last year have been mailed.
School of Religion is a faith-formation program of instruction in the Catholic faith for all children of the parish in preschool (three and four year olds) through 8th grade. Members of our parish community are trained as catechists and teach age-appropriate faith curriculum in a classroom setting. An integrated program of sacramental preparation is provided for Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation along with foundational catechesis. Members of our parish who have children enrolled in public or private schools in the area, along with Holy Redeemer School families, are welcomed and encouraged to enroll their children in our School of Religion program.
Our program begins each September and runs through mid-May, meeting on most Sundays except for major holidays. Preschool and Kindergarten School of Religion classes begin at 9:50 a.m. and run through the 10:00 a.m. Mass. 1st grade through 8th grade classes begin with the 10:00 a.m. Mass, and class begins after Mass and runs until 12:30 p.m.
Registration Forms & fees are due by Sunday, August 25th. Fees will increase after that date.
Families can register online on the Parish website
HERE or find downloadable forms to fill out and return. Registration Forms can also be found on the Parish Bulletin Board by the Mezzanine restrooms and in the literature racks at the entrances of the church.
