This past Sunday, March 1st at the 12:00 noon Mass, we celebrated the Rite of Sending, in which we prayed for our catechumen Vaibhav Gupta, and our candidate, Brooke Bell, formally sending them with their godparent and sponsor to the Rite of Election (celebrated that same day at 3:00 p.m. at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception) accompanied by the support and encouragement of the entire parish family. Joining them for the Rite of Election were the members of our RCIA team: Mary O’Meara, Dan Koenemann, and Fr. Andrew.
 
As they continue their journey towards the Easter Sacraments, and the fullness of Catholic communion, please keep both Vaibhav (“V”) and Brooke in your prayers.
