Please join us in the church on
Sunday, January 6th, at 4:00 p.m. for our annual Holy Redeemer Christmas concert! The Holy Redeemer Choirs will combine to present festive carols and motets of the Christmas season. Music will include "For Unto Us A Child Is Born" from Handel's Messiah, "Bogoroditse Devo" from Rachmaninoff's All-Night Vigil, and "What Sweeter Music" by John Rutter, sung by the Holy Redeemer Choir, accompanied by a string octet. The Vigil Choir will sing a setting of "In the Bleak Mid-winter" by Holst, and the Schola will offer Victoria's setting of the "Ave Maria". The 35-voice Children's Choir will sing settings of "Hodie Christus Natus Est", "O Come, Little Children", and "Gesu Bambino". And, there will be Christmas carols for all to join in singing! This annual concert always keeps us in the Christmas spirit- please join us!
